BearingPoint designed and implemented a data warehouse system to enable the financial service provider in the German truck and engine manufacturers group to effectively manage its portfolio of, and reporting on, leasing securitisation transactions.

Objectives of the project

MAN Finance decided to use the securitisation refinancing channel to increase the group-wide level of securitisable receivables. They wanted to build a business data warehouse to monitor and control local subsidiaries and understand their potential securitisations.

Measurable & concrete results

  • Transparency of the business and portfolio development of international subsidiaries
  • Effective control of the subsidiary portfolios which enables new refinancing options (e.g. ABS and forfeiting)
  • Possibility for automated and short-term creation of complex vintage reports
  • Improvement of data quality of the international subsidiaries
