BearingPoint successfully set-up and prepared as well as implemented a new provider of securities settlement services, focusing on data migration, test management and organisational structure for a German federal state bank.
Objectives of the project
BearingPoint supported the change of a settlement services provider for the securities business.
Measurable & concrete results
Fast, cost-efficient and minimum risk exchange of the provider by:
- Organisational and process-oriented actions, i.e. elaboration and implementation of the necessary changes in processes, determination of functional separation, negotiations of business management contract including SLAs, development and conducting necessary training, coordination and implementation of data quality measures.
- Migration/Data Transfer: Migration concepts, coordination of data transfer during migration weekends (control centre), conceptual design and implementation of “expiry strategy” for the old system.
- Test Management: Central and overall test coordination, development of test concepts and test cases based on functional as well as technical definitions, deviation management during integration tests and Go-Live.
- Customising: As is analysis, reconciliation and documentation of parameterisation requirements for the new system.
