Very highly detailed emissions calculations

LogEC supplies a calculation per single transport leg and per single shipment. This includes a report on transportation-based greenhouse gas emissions as well as a separate report on the environmental impacts of warehousing and transition processes, including a consideration of the individual energy mix and use of electricity.

International + multimodal

All types of global transport are covered, including road, rail, air and sea traffic.

Combines real data with simulations

The calculation uses the highest degree of accuracy (for example real data about consumption) as well as generic data from invoices. In addition, LogEC’s simulation feature enables you to make calculations in advance and compare average data and realistic transport fleet data.

For logistics service providers and shippers

As logistics service providers’ networks are shown in the tool, shippers can also use LogEC without real-time information about the actual flow of their shipments.

Workarounds for missing data

LogEC automatically switches to generic data from official databases such as B. HBEFA 3.1 when real data is missing.

Flexible for any reporting requirements

As calculations are made per single transport leg and per single shipment, the results can be adapted individually and easily to meet all reporting requirements, for example emissions per shipment, customer, business unit or country.
