Did you know…

that it takes up to 500 years for plastic to decompose.

The United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP24, will take place in Katowice, Poland at the end of this year. From December 3-14, representatives from around the globe will discuss the next actions to stop damaging human interference with the climate system.

Our environment is also facing another huge problem: plastic pollution is having disastrous effects on the environment, wildlife and humans.

What we want to do

We want to focus on making smarter decisions in our everyday lives. Our #plasticfree challenge is to avoid as much plastic as possible and spread awareness about the plastic problem. The challenge is from December 1 to January 31, but we hope that all of us will continue to use less plastic far into the future.

Why we do it

As a company with a global network, we believe it is our social duty to focus on sustainability and the environment. After reducing the environmental impact of our business processes when it comes to saving energy and water, as well as making our business climate neutral by reducing travel, we now want to tackle the topic of plastic pollution.

We have always strongly supported the separation of waste and recycling, as well as working in a paperless way, and now want to go further and reduce our plastic waste.

What you can do

To change the way we think and behave when it comes to plastic, we need to inform people about the impact pollution has on our environment. Look out for our posts on our social media channels and join our two-month long #plasticfree challenge. Let's reduce plastic waste in our everyday lives and make our world a better place.
