Re-election of the Global Managing Partner until 2018 continues the stable business strategy
Amsterdam/Frankfurt, May 18, 2015 – The partners of the consulting company BearingPoint have endorsed the Global Managing Partner Peter Mockler for a third term. Officially, the new term of office begins on September 1, 2015 and covers three additional years. Peter Mockler leads BearingPoint since the Management Buyout in 2009. Under his leadership, the company has been successfully established as an independent, partner-managed, and internationally active management and technology consultancy. The firm has increased revenues from 441 million euros (2009) to 558 million euros (2014) and the number of employees has grown from 3,200 to 3,500. Last year, the company achieved its best ever earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT).
With the re-election of Peter Mockler, the BearingPoint partners have opted for consistency and reliability. The successful strategy is to be continued. This includes in particular the further development of the strategic areas digitalization, regulation, and asset-based consulting (ABC) as well as the further expansion of the company’s global reach.

Peter Mockler is an expert with over 25 years of experience in the consulting industry. In 2006, he was elected Chairman of the Management Board of the German firm BearingPoint GmbH, and became Executive Vice President of BearingPoint EMEA and member of the Executive Leadership Team of BearingPoint, Inc. In 2009, he successfully led the European Management Buyout of BearingPoint, Inc., creating an independent company of more than 120 partners with European roots and a global reach. He was elected Managing Partner for the first time in 2009 and re-elected in 2012.
