Your career path at BearingPoint starts with a bachelor’s degree as an Analyst and a master’s degree as a Senior Analyst. It is important for us to be able to employ you on a project for 50% of the time. If you are considering writing your master’s thesis with BearingPoint, please contact us via email with your specific topic, area of interest, and research question. We will then hold internal discussions to decide if and how we can supervise the project, depending on capacity.
BearingPoint is an international company that also works alongside several local players. Proficiency in German and English (min. B2 level) is therefore essential for a job at our Zurich site, and we require a high level of French and English skills (min. B2 level) at our Geneva premises.

Travel requirements vary depending on the project, and we try our best to accommodate the preferences of our employees and clients. This mainly applies to the Swiss region - the Zurich site in German-speaking Switzerland and the Geneva premises in the French-speaking Switzerland.
There is the possibility to work from home. It is important for us to offer our employees the flexibility they need in their job. Depending on the client project, this may vary and be adapted on an individual basis.
With our flexible working time model, we put great emphasis on achieving a work-life balance. We have implemented a 40-hour working week. Work in consulting depends on the different phases of the project. The launch or completion of a project in particular may involve more intense phases and increased effort. Any overtime is compensated.
The BE.Club makes the difference for us. Throughout the year, the team – consisting of many employees – organises incredible events such as ski trips, hikes, parties, drinks, football tournaments, and much more.

Here are a few examples: At entry level, you will participate in different training sessions during a week at BE.School and be introduced to the world of BearingPoint. Our consultants in their second year take part in the company-wide consultant bootcamp in Amsterdam. There you will focus on developing your skills and engaging with our purpose. At Oxford University, our senior consultants are specifically prepared for their next career step. For our (senior) managers and partners, we offer specific leadership training at Yale University.

Projects can last from a few weeks to several years.
In the office and at client premises, the dress code is standard business attire. Our consultants may be asked to have a tie ready for certain events.
