I am a chartered accountant and tax advisor by profession, having served mostly international clients as a financial statement auditor and tax advisor, and in transaction support. I have held management positions in finance organizations in the financial services and hospitality industries.
My career started in 1992 in Frankfurt. In 1997, I moved to Berlin and in 2006 to New Delhi, where I spent three years.
My market-building role in India gave me a strong international experience. As a result, I am highly aware of the success factors in building an international business.
My role as CFO at BearingPoint is seen as a strategic and enabling partner for the business. As a member of the MPO (Office of the Managing Partner), my role is to provide insights and analysis to support the Managing Partner in decision-making and to assure that business decisions are financially sound. In this capacity, I also work closely with the COO to improve the firm’s processes and systems and with the CDO to help structure and facilitate our strategic investments.
As an MC sponsor for firm-wide IT, I ensure that the IT system runs smoothly and is adapted to business requirements on a timely basis.
