  • After having worked, among others, for Zurich Financial Services and Sun Microsystems, Peter Gassmann, graduate engineer (Dipl. Inf. Ing. FH), joined the IT services company AdNovum in September 2010. As a project manager and senior IT consultant, he was involved in the conception and implementation of solutions as well as strategy development in the areas of security and identity and access management. In April 2012, he took over the management of the strategic IT Consulting division and subsequently expanded AdNovum's IT consulting offering. Since 2015 Peter is part of the Executive Board as Chief Commercial Officer and responsible for the area Consulting as well as for Sales, Marketing and Communication.

  • Theo has been working in the financial services industry for 20 years, of which 12 years have been with BearingPoint as a consultant. As part of the "Capital Markets - Securities" competence team, he focuses on E2E processes, trading, clearing and settlement platforms, cost reduction programs, market data management and new technologies such as distributed ledgers or blockchain. The team’s main customers include DekaBank, apoBank, BayernLB, Credit Agricole CIB and Postbank.

  • Tomas has been with BearingPoint since 2008 after eight years as an entrepreneur in Business Intelligence and analytical CRM solutions in Germany. With a background in Financial Services and the Automotive industry, Tomas has been managing BI/analytics projects for more than 18 years. Data driven and strategic business insight initiatives have been part of Tomas’s focus from early, on helping Swiss Financial Services customers developing and setting up their analytics platforms. Since 2017, Tomas is responsible for BearingPoint’s Big Data & Smart Analytics practice in SIA Region (Switzerland, Italy and Austria).

Growing dominance of the "machines": How AI changes the financial industry

Peter Gassmann, Chief Commercial Officer at AdNovum Informatik, gave us an insight into the world of Intelligent Agents. 

Artificial Intelligence supported conversation interfaces already allow a multitude of banking tasks to be carried out, ranging from answering simple customer questions to client onboarding scenarios.

But are these Intelligent Agents able to meet today’s high expectations? The talk was held in German.
