Jürg started his professional career in 1986 and developed, among other things, a central master data solution for material and assortment management. In 2003, he began working as an ICT architect at Emmi Switzerland, building up the data architecture and developing a master data maintenance tool. From 2013 he was responsible for the implementation of SAP MDG and SAP RD solutions at Emmi. In addition, Jürg is active in various cross-industry committees on data management and has conducted related seminars and training sessions.
Claudia has worked for 20 years as an account manager with various IT companies such as Oracle, Software AG, Gartner and most recently SAP. Thanks to these years of sales experience, Claudia has a good overview of current IT topics as well as an insight into the many industries in which she has worked and won customers. Since the beginning of April, she has been a Senior Business Development Manager at BearingPoint, focusing on customers in the Life Science and Consumer Goods/Retail sectors.
After working for over ten years in the new economy and on Internet development within various industries, Zeno built up a global master data team for an industrial company from 2008. In 2011 he joined BearingPoint, where he established a consulting portfolio for master data management first in Switzerland and then for the entire German-speaking region. Together with his team Zeno accompanies and advises customers from strategic alignment to implementation of master data solutions with a focus on SAP solutions.
Jürg Hofer, Data Architect at Emmi Schweiz AG and Chairman of the Master Data Management Forum, discusses with us the crucial challenges of digitization for data management. Jürg will cover topics such as the cultural change necessary to convert abstract data into knowledge, and how that made it possible for Emmi to effectively implement digitization. Jürg will also explain the meaning of the principle "the intelligence of processes lies in data" as he understand it from his point of view. This will be illustrated by practical approaches such as a 360° view of business partners, cross-company data exchange and process efficiency through data analysis.
