Appointment of Jürgen Lux and Kiumars Hamidian to the global management committee
Frankfurt, February 17, 2016 – The management and technology consultancy BearingPoint has appointed Jürgen Lux und Kiumars Hamidian to the global management committee. Kiumars Hamidian directs Service Lines and is also responsible for the Ventures business at BearingPoint. Within Ventures BearingPoint is driving the development of innovations and the creation and financing of start-ups in cooperation with clients. Jürgen Lux is responsible for the new business unit, Solutions, which encompasses all activities in the area of software development and Asset Based Consulting with products such as the regulatory reporting software suite Abacus and the emissions calculator LogEC. BearingPoint’s target is to double the Solutions revenues by 2020. A major driver on the way to this target is BearingPoint’s Digital Ecosystem Management initiative featuring the multi-tenant concept-to-cash platform R6.
With the appointment of Jürgen Lux and Kiumars Hamidian to our global management committee, we are strengthening our activities in Solutions and Ventures. Jürgen Lux is the firm-wide leader of Solutions. With more than 20 years of experience in consulting and the software business, he has a proven track record mainly within the financial service industry, working often in an international environment. He focuses on Regulatory Reporting and Management, Packaged Software Development and Maintenance as well as Managed Service and Implementation. Jürgen Lux has established large parts of BearingPoint’s software business within the banking and insurance industry and has led numerous implementation projects. He has been a Partner at BearingPoint since 2002.
Kiumars Hamidian is the firm-wide leader for Service Lines and also is in charge of the Innovation Process including BearingPoint Ventures. With more than 20 years of experience in consulting, he has a proven track record across different industries in an international environment. He focuses on global standardization and harmonization of business processes, reorganization of marketing and customer services and restructuring of IT. Kiumars Hamidian has established the BearingPoint service portfolio of adaptive and innovative client solutions and the firm-wide delivery model. He has been a Partner at BearingPoint since 2002.
