Having no idea what the next step in my career would look like, I was approached by a former colleague who presented the idea of joining BearingPoint to me. After hearing more about BearingPoint and the special opportunity and task that lay ahead, I was instantly intrigued. I was especially fascinated by the rare combination of being part of a larger experienced consultancy and the need to have an entrepreneurial mindset in order to grow the business.
I have been involved in a few minor projects, but mostly larger projects in the financial sector spanning over several years. It has been a great opportunity to, firstly, help out our clients, but also to grow enormously as a professional and as a person.
“BearingPoint is a consultancy where as an employee you can still have a family and friends”. This was part of the pitch that was given to me before I joined. I must say it is impressive the way BearingPoint respects your time and understands that life also exists outside of projects and client meetings. My specific competency is a mixture of many different domains and as our office is growing, it is a great opportunity to be part of the journey from the beginning.
