We support our clients in the development of new compliance objectives and in the establishment of adequate compliance risk management control. Our goal as BearingPoint Compliance Advisory is to be available to our clients as a key contact in the compliance community. This continuous contact is a good basis to be the implementation partner in the functional and technical transformation of second line and first line compliance.
I started my time in banking at what is now HypoVereinsbank, and then moved to Mummert & Partner (now Sopra Steria Consulting). At Mummert, I built up the Compliance Advisory team. I then worked for KPMG and Deloitte as a Compliance Partner.
Together with my partner colleague Oliver Engelbrecht, we will expand BearingPoint's already successful Compliance Advisory. For more than 20 years, I have been advising on regulatory change and supporting companies in the best possible implementation of legal, regulatory and reputational issues. The value chain includes the development of the compliance strategy, the analysis of the existing situation with the identification of deviations and their closure (Compliance Resilience Test). My professional expertise lies in the areas of governance management, compliance management as well as in the core compliance topics of money laundering prevention, economic/financial sanctions, anti-corruption and anti-fraud and capital market compliance. Projects always focus on compliance efficiency and the associated use of new technologies.
