Dr. Christian Lochert

I support organizations in the mobility, transport, and infrastructure sectors in shaping and implementing their digital transformation, with a particular focus on complex and highly regulated environments. In doing so, I help clients strategically align their IT landscapes, sustainably reduce complexity, and establish a robust foundation for scalable, future-proof solutions.

At the core of my work is the development of IT strategies and enterprise architectures that not only provide clear direction but also ensure practical feasibility. I am responsible for designing and steering transformation initiatives, from strategic target setting through to operational implementation across both organizational structures and IT.

I studied Business Informatics and completed my PhD in the field of vehicle-to-vehicle communication. Early in my career, I specialized in how technological innovations can be effectively deployed and sustainably operated within complex infrastructures.

Following my doctorate, I joined PSI Transcom in 2009, where I worked as Head of Software Development and Consultant. In this role, I was responsible, among other things, for developing telecommunications solutions and optimizing key processes for mobile network operators.

Since joining BearingPoint in 2011, my focus has been on digitalization in the public sector, supporting organizations in the strategic evolution of their IT landscapes.

For several years, a key focus of my work has been transformation in the context of the German federal highway reform. In addition, I lead transformation initiatives across both the public sector and private industry. My work centers on developing viable strategies and ensuring their implementation in line with modern enterprise architecture principles.

I combine deep technological expertise with extensive experience in steering complex transformation initiatives, helping organizations align their IT in a sustainable, efficient, and future-ready way.
