What made you choose BearingPoint as your employer?

I was finishing my studies at Tampere University when I came across a case presented by a BearingPoint employee. The case was about IT harmonization and system implementation strategy for an imaginary client. Not only the case, but the whole company seemed to be a great match, and that's why I wanted to try whether I could enjoy consulting at BearingPoint.

When I applied for the traineeship, I could not even imagine everything BearingPoint could provide: amazing colleagues, monthly massages, sport and cultural activities, snacks in the fridge, office dogs and fun parties.

How would you describe the projects or tasks you have participated in?

Last year I was part of a team where we assessed ERP strategy and roadmap for a large industrial company to support their journey towards harmonized ERP solutions across different sites.

Furthermore, I have supported our client in the finance sector in renewing their integrations across different systems. It has been rewarding to see integrations go live in the production environment after rounds of specifications, development and testing.

Fortunately, I have also had time to participate in the internal activities, such as hosting student excursions and support in material creation.

Why would you recommend someone to join your competency team?

Our ERP team can fast track young talents in their careers by providing interesting ERP related projects and +20 years experience on them (our team has the highest seniority level in the whole Finnish practise). To more experienced persons, the team is a great fit in terms of the project opportunities and new perspectives.

Our team, as any other team, has a relaxed but professional approach to the projects.
