Women’s Day champagne tasting

In honor of Women’s Day, BearingPoint invites female students to an exclusive champagne tasting evening!

Please join us on March 7 to celebrate Women’s day as we gather to enjoy the fine taste of champagne introduced by Finland´s first Master of Wine, Essi Avellan. Essi is a champagne and sparkling wine specialist, author of several wine books and reputed wine judge among others. We are very excited to celebrate Women´s Day together with Essi and hope you will join us!

During the evening you will have a great opportunity to combine work and pleasure by learning more about the different types of champagne as well as its production, while acquiring more information about the consulting industry and meet our female colleagues.

The event is open to all female students, but there is only a limited amount of places available. If you’re interested, please send a brief introduction about yourself (major, study year, university and contact information) to finland@bearingpoint.com. Application deadline is February 22 and the chosen participants will receive a confirmation email by February 28.

Essi Avellan is Finland’s first Master of Wine. Recognized as a champagne and sparkling wine specialist, Avellan is the author of several wine books, including Matka Champagneen and Parhaat samppanjat. She has also recently revised and extended the 3rd edition of Tom Stevenson’s award-winning Christie’s World Encyclopedia of Champagne and Sparkling Wine. Her tasting events are memorable evenings with top professional guidance and fine wines in a relaxed atmosphere.
