At BearingPoint, wellbeing is at the heart of our people promises and values. We are fully committed to cultivating a work environment that supports and prioritizes the holistic health of our employees. By embedding wellbeing into our culture, we create a foundation of care and support that strengthens collaboration, boosts productivity, and drives job satisfaction.
We strive to support our employees’ wellbeing in various ways by offering several benefits, practices and activities. In addition, we have implemented a comprehensive Wellbeing Framework in Finland to ensure a structured approach to wellbeing. The framework brings transparency to the benefits and processes we offer and provides our people with practical tools for improving their wellbeing.
Social wellbeing refers to the quality of our relationships and interactions with others. Strong social connections can boost emotional resilience, reduce stress, and contribute to overall mental and physical health.
At BearingPoint, we have a community-driven culture, where teamwork, shared experiences, and personal connections are at the heart of how we operate. To enhance social wellbeing, we have different social networks for our people, targeted for example to young professionals as well as women at BearingPoint. We also organize variety of activities together on a regular basis. Every month, we gather for a shared breakfast and spend time together at an afterwork. Additionally, we have various team events, CSR activities, such as knitting for charity, and cultural activities.
We’ve adopted a hybrid working model that allows balance for our people and helps them maintain the benefits of remote work while still building meaningful connections in person. Our recently renovated office spaces are designed to foster collaboration and innovation, offering open spaces for teamwork and casual interactions. Employees enjoy coming to the office not just for work, but for the social engagement that strengthens relationships and nurtures a supportive work environment.
I truly appreciate that we have such an active organization here that arranges social activities also outside of work, such as sports trials, afterwork gatherings, and theme nights centered around wellness or culture. It’s fantastic that there’s such strong participation in these events.

Finding personal daily habits that support wellbeing is essential, as everyone’s needs are unique and can vary depending on their current life situation. Developing awareness of own physical needs—whether it’s more movement, better nutrition, or simply time for rest—helps to build sustainable wellbeing.
At BearingPoint, we are committed to supporting the physical wellbeing of our employees through initiatives like our sporting club BearingSport that encourages employees to explore various forms of exercise. Every other Friday, we host a group morning run, and we regularly organize swimming sessions. We also have a football team, among other activities. In addition to these regular sports events, we introduce a variety of new sports for our employees to try. We also provide healthy snack options and on-site monthly massage to enhance ergonomics and relaxation.
Cognitive ergonomics is essential for holistic wellbeing. By encouraging regular breaks and promoting mindful working habits, we help our employees manage cognitive demands and lower stress. We have, for example, implemented a practice of 5 minutes shorter meeting times, so there is time for a brief brake in-between meeting.
My favourite sport experience is the annual running event, where there's healthy competition between colleagues but at the same time everyone supports and cheers for another. Another highlight of mine are our swim sessions, where I had the opportunity to coach colleagues on their swimming technique while also benefiting from an excellent workout myself. Regardless of the sport, the most rewarding aspect is the atmosphere between my BearingPoint colleagues. The strong sense of community is what motivates me to continue participating.

We want to foster a culture of continuous development, where people are supported and encouraged to pursue their career goals while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. To do so, we offer variety of trainings that help our employees enhance their expertise in consulting, business skills, and emotional intelligence. Additionally, we periodically invite external experts to broaden our consultants' knowledge on a variety of topics.
One of the key elements to support employees’ development and growth is the role of the Development Manager. Development Manager is there to provide guidance and support for each employee during their BearingPoint career, whether it is discussing career development, handling difficult project situations or navigating stress and emotions at work. Employees can openly discuss how they are managing both their professional and personal lives.
At BearingPoint, we view wellbeing as an ongoing journey. We understand that different situations require different approaches. Wellbeing is not a task to complete—it’s a dynamic process that adapts to each individual’s needs. Whether it’s finding ways to reduce stress, finding healthier habits or making time for personal passions, we want to provide a strong foundation and support our employees in their overall wellbeing. However, everyone has the responsibility to take care of their own wellbeing. With this in mind, our framework outlines what our people can individually do to promote their own wellbeing. To assist with this, we have also created a Wellbeing LinkedIn Learning path, which helps our employees develop healthier habits in their everyday life.
