Along with mitigating climate change, biodiversity challenges have risen to global public awareness. EU regulation is a key driver for setting biodiversity on a recovery path. But how can companies effectively adapt and function within this regulatory framework? The applicable indicators and calculation models are generally still under development, and pioneering companies are also in the experiment phase. At the breakfast event, we will talk about BearingPoint’s data-based methodologies with business examples and further how biodiversity challenges can be tackled with circular economy solutions. Regulation thus enables companies not only ways to strengthen their compliance and reporting, but also offers new sustainable business opportunities, i.e. sustainable competitive advantage and growth.
