The pressure for ESG management stems not only from regulation (such as CSRD, EUDR, and CSDDD) but also from customers, the media, business partners, financiers, and from the general rise of global instability. However, in today’s business landscape, ESG is no longer just a regulatory requirement – it is a key driver of long-term competitive advantage. Therefore, companies should aim shifting from ESG survival mode, where ESG is mainly a risk management topic, to ESG superiority, where ESG is a real source of opportunities.

Key improvement activities include automation of the ESG data collection and integrating ESG data with existing processes, as well as acting proactively to find ESG related business opportunities alongside risks. For ESG superiors, ESG no longer appears only as a risk that must be managed, but also as a promising business opportunity and a source of competitive advantage. We believe more and more companies are already starting this important journey.

In this webinar jointly organized by BearingPoint, JAGGAER, and Prewave we explored how companies can shift from being ESG survivors towards ESG superiors, and unlock new opportunities for growth, innovation, cost-efficiency and enhanced market reputation.

The webinar recording will give you insight on the following questions:

  1. What makes supply chain ESG environment so challenging to manage?
  2. What kind of business benefits and competitive advantage ESG management can offer?
  3. How to turn ESG from risk management activities to broader opportunities?
