Markus is an experienced digital industry executive with management positions in consulting, strategy development, sales and marketing, and new business development in Europe and the United States.
Markus is a frequent speaker on industry developments in Finnish and international conferences as well as industry press. Most recently his views on digital industry developments have been cited in Kauppalehti, Taloussanomat, Tietoviikko, Talouselämä, Tietokone, and Digitoday.
Markus holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Management from the Helsinki University of Technology.
Markus Huttunen is a Partner leading the Nordic Digital & Strategy service line of BearingPoint and the Managing Director of Magenta Advisory (part of BearingPoint), a leading management consultancy focusing on strategy creation and implementation for digitalization of businesses. Markus has helped clients across various industries including banking, insurance, media, telecom, retail, consumer goods and travel define and accelerate their digitalization agendas.
Markus joined BearingPoint in 2015 when BearingPoint acquired Magenta Advisory, a company co-founded by Markus. Prior to Magenta Advisory, he was the country manager for Capgemini Consulting's Telecom, Media and Entertainment management consulting practice in Finland.
