My experience of more than 20 years in the healthcare sector covers all relevant players. In addition, I support digital providers of innovative solutions in entering the market. Also, the public sector needs more and more support in designing and managing regulatory tasks as resources become scarcer.

  • From 2001-2011, I was Managing Director at health insurance companies BKK and AOK and provided services for social security.
  • From 2012 to 2017, I was responsible for the healthcare sector for DACH at Mercer, after which I became a partner at BDO (2017-2022), where I advised not only hospitals but also associations, health insurers and IT service providers in the healthcare sector.
  • Since 2011, I have held a professorship in management, specializing in healthcare management.
  • I am an external expert at the Federal Joint Committee, a group of German public health agencies authorized to make binding regulations growing out of health reform bills passed by lawmakers.
