Having graduated from St Anne’s College Oxford with an MA in History, James started his career at Rover Group in Sales and Marketing in 1986 and has been working within the Automotive industry for the past 30 years. He made the move from industry into consultancy in 1998, working for KPMG and IBM Global Services before joining BearingPoint in 2005. As a consultant James has worked for a range of blue chip companies across multiple industries with a particular specialism in Automotive. His advisory work with clients encompasses developing and operationalising strategy, target operating model design, operational performance improvement and digital transformation.

James also sits on the corporate advisory boards for the University of Surrey Business School, and Imperial College Business school.
