I'm a FCA Chartered Accountant with a Civil Engineering degree from Imperial College. I've worked at Deloitte, PwC, IBM and have managed large teams throughout UK Public Sector. For the last 20 years I've been CEO of small to medium size consultancy firms. I also spent over two years employed by the Home Office. I'm now BearingPoint head of UK Government and Public Services.
I'm very experienced in the design, develop and implementation of planning processes and systems. I have run large long term programmes in Home Office, Defence and Health. In addition, I design and deliver business training throughout the public sector including at the Houses of Parliament. My subject matter expertise is the commercialisation of public sector services.
I come from West Cornwall and went to the local Grammar School. Fortunately, being good at rugby provided many routes out and I ended up at Imperial College and then Deloitte Haskins and Sells. I worked in the City at Morgan Stanley and City Index (the inventors of spread betting). I then went back to Cornwall before working at the Home Office. From then onwards I've worked on delivering financial change programmes.
My key industry knowledge is change management solutions in large complex public sector organisations. I am expert at linking strategic change and performance management focusing on delivering value for money and the customer needs.
I haven't the time to write a 500 word summary would a 5000 word one do?
