Andrew Montgomery

As Partner and lead for Government and Public Sector in Ireland, I am responsible for our public sector business. My consulting and technology experience includes over 26 years working with Stokes Kennedy Crowley, KPMG Consulting and BearingPoint, both in Ireland and internationally. I have led, advised on and delivered a wide range of consulting, technology and digital transformation projects for clients across the Government, commercial and financial services sectors.

At BearingPoint we combine our consulting know-how and technology delivery capability with innovative digital solutions to enable organisations to transform and grow their business and services. My core areas of expertise and focus is on working with public sector organisations to achieve four outcomes:

• the optimisation of front and back-office functions,
• the transformation of service delivery to citizens and businesses,
• the reinvention of public service business models, and
• the development of the internal capability required to deliver and sustain change programmes

Prior to starting my consulting career I completed a MA Hons. in Management Science and Industrial Systems Studies at Trinity College, Dublin. I later obtained my CDipAF qualification from the Charted Institute of Management Accountants.

I have also completed BearingPoint’s Senior Management Development programme and Executive Leadership programme at the Yale School of Management, USA.
