… and winner of THREE Catalyst project awards at Digital Transformation World 2018 - all using Infonova Technology
With the motto “Explore, Collaborate, Become”, TM Forum’s Digital Transformation World 2018 was a key opportunity for senior telecoms executives to explore how industry-standard Open APIs support digital transformation, and meet the 120+ companies collaborating through rapid proof-of concept catalyst projects leveraging cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain, 5G, smart cities and digital ecosystems.
We attended this year’s Digital Transformation World, taking home 4 prestigious awards. TM Forum’s Awards recognize the world’s leading companies for their innovative achievements spanning digital transformation, business and IT agility, customer centricity, cross-industry partnering and collaboration, and product and service innovation.
Over the three day event we also had a record-number of highly successful meetings with clients and prospects, journalists and analysts, generating promising leads from the telecommunications sector globally and receiving positive feedback from customers and attendees.
At the Gala Dinner on the Monday evening BearingPoint was announced the winner of the TM Forum Open API Excellence Award. This award recognizes the company which has successfully adopted the widest number of relevant TM Forum Open APIs into their product(s), which has led to increased business agility and operation agility of their customers.
We are one of the first and most prominent vendors within the TM Forum member community to not only adopt but also promote the Open API Standard. BearingPoint’s Digital Platform Solutions powered by Infonova Technology use and expose TM Forum Open APIs for multiple clients globally, active in 30+ countries spanning 5 continents.
This cutting-edge project looks toward a future where CSPs can use 5G, augmented reality (AR) and multi-access edge computing (MEC) to deliver enterprise services end-to-end across diverse partners’ networks ecosystem. By making use of standard modelling languages and interfaces, it focusses on enabling the orchestration and assurance of a composite set of cloud services (NFV and SDN) and the reuse of these models across different operational markets in a diverse ecosystem of orchestration and configuration systems.
Champions: AT&T, BT, du Telecom, NTT, Orange, Verizon, Telecom Italia Mobile, Vodafone Group

We played a key role in shaping the catalyst from both a business and technology aspect. The BearingPoint // Beyond Infonova BSS delivers a single platform that orchestrates and monetizes the digital ecosystem to enable multi-party collaboration across all industry verticals. Our technology also controls a Fiware based Data Hub, the central point where all data is collected, obtaining the data, organizing and feeding it into the central platform.
Phase II of this catalyst blends the physical (instore experiences) and digital interactions a customer has with a CSP to create an ecosystem between the CSP and the customer across both the real and virtual worlds.
