BearingPoint is delighted to continue sponsorship of the Leinster Rugby Senior team, and support of the Shane Horgan and Sarah Robinson underage cup leagues.
The Shane Horgan and Sarah Robinson leagues are comprised of young players from across Leinster. Often showcasing exceptional talent at underage level, the leagues have come to be the starting point for several now-professional players. These leagues are bolstered by the strong network of coaches that help shape these young players and their work to reinforce the community element of club rugby.
Leinster Rugby recently hosted an open evening with coaches from across the province, which served as an opportunity to discuss upcoming developments, and to gain insight in how Leinster Rugby could further assist coaches with their roles.
As Leinster Rugby’s Official Innovation Partner, BearingPoint was proud to be on hand to show support and to get to know the coaches and team captains. We learned how the coaching network plays such a pivotal role in player progression from underage through to senior level relying on an investment of a coach’s time, the fostering of a positive environment, teaching core game skills and nurturing talent. BearingPoint is working closely with Leinster Rugby to add benefit to this programme.
On the evening, we heard from proud Leinster club coach, and BearingPoint Regional Leader, Eric Conway about the partnership with Leinster Rugby.
