BearingPoint enters new service partnership with Unit4

• BearingPoint will provide technology consultancy and implementation services to Unit4 clients in Ireland and internationally
• Agreement follows the development of the relationship both locally and in other markets over the past 18 months
• Focus is on delivering transformational business programmes underpinned by Unit4 Business World (formerly Agresso)

Dublin, 12 June 2015 - Leading management and technology consultancy, BearingPoint, and Unit4, a fast-growing leader in enterprise applications for service organisations, have signed a partnership agreement they announced today.

Unit4 has chosen BearingPoint to support the delivery of consulting, implementation, integration and support services to existing and new clients. The focus is on implementing new-generation, agile enterprise resource planning (ERP) from Unit4, using the company’s People Platform to extend and adapt Unit4 solutions to specific customer requirements.

BearingPoint operates via a global consulting network and is initially establishing delivery capability for Unit4 applications in the UK and Ireland. Its focus will be on providing a broad range of consulting, implementation and systems integration services for clients across the Government, commercial and financial services sectors, as well as BPO organisations, to deliver business and technology transformation solutions, enabled by Unit4 Business World.

This agreement builds on Unit4 and BearingPoint’s existing relationship. Both organisations are currently jointly engaged to implement Unit4 Business World at 27 of Ireland’s 30 local government authorities. Leveraging Unit4 and BearingPoint’s established track record in public services, the Government segment will be a key focus area, along with specific verticals in other sectors.

In 2014, BearingPoint recorded strong global growth with revenues of €558m.
