Dublin, February 5th 2018 – BearingPoint, one of Ireland’s leading management and technology consultancies, will increase its Dublin headcount to 340 people following increasing international demands for the company’s ‘RegTech’ (regulatory technology) solutions.
An additional 40 jobs will be created in the areas of project management, software development and data analytics. The new hires will work on ground-breaking RegTech products, as well as other software in the BearingPoint product portfolio including digital ecosystem and data analytics solutions.
By improving reporting, monitoring and compliance, RegTech provides regulators with information about the state of a financial services company, a bank or other highly regulated industries. This information gives regulators foresight of structural instability, allowing them to provide appropriate supervision.
BearingPoint, which works with a number of major Irish and international financial institutions and banks, has an established RegTech centre of excellence at its headquarters on Adelaide Road in Dublin 2. From the centre, the company develops and markets its flagship RegTech products, like FiTax and Abacus, to over 20 countries in Europe, North America and the Far East.
