We care. A world for the future.
More for our People is an initiative at BearingPoint that focuses on enhancing the overall experience and well-being of employees. This initiative aims to create a supportive and engaging work environment by providing various resources, opportunities, and programs tailored to the needs of the employees. It encompasses aspects such as professional development, work-life balance, health and wellness, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
At BearingPoint, we have a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility. This initiative aims to raise awareness and encourage actions that contribute to a healthier planet. It encompasses various programmes and activities designed to reduce the environmental impact of the company's operations and promote sustainable practices among employees such as Climate Fresk workshops, local cleanup days, and a recent achievement for the Irish practice is achieving our ISO14001 Certification. BearingPoint has recently achieved B Corp certification, reinforcing its dedication to high standards of social and environmental performance.
We are focused on giving back to the community and making a positive impact on society.
In Ireland, we organise events to support and fundraise for several Irish charities. We have ongoing relationships with Cardiac Risk in the Young Ireland, our Charity Partner, and Teen-Turn. Every year we hold a blood drive to support the Irish Blood Transfusion Service. We are long-term participants in Clash of the Companies, a team-building exercise which raises funds for sick children in Children’s Health Ireland. We also fundraise and donate to numerous charities throughout the year, including hosting bake sales for Daffodil Day and the Irish Hospice, taking part in Movember and donating Christmas vouchers to Localise.
At BearingPoint, we place a strong emphasis on CSR, and we undertake numerous pro bono projects with charities and organisations. We have worked with Paralympics Ireland, Localise and Ireland Active to help streamline their services and implement new practices to better support those availing of their valuable resources.
We work closely with Teen-Turn, a charity dedicated to providing hands-on STEM experiences to teen girls from underserved communities. Alongside running workshops in local secondary schools throughout the year, we also host a summer internship for the students. Our goal is to help students envision themselves in STEM careers by removing any stigma or fear associated with the corporate world.
