As segment lead of Banking & Capital Markets in the Netherlands, I want to establish BearingPoint as the partner of choice for supporting clients in complex transformations, making them more data-driven through business model innovations to be responsive to future developments and challenges.

Before joining BearingPoint, I worked as a management consultant for most of my career. After graduating in Industrial Engineering in 1997, I initially joined PWC as a risk management consultant, but I quickly switched to PWC’s management consultants and joined the FSI practice. And I never left that industry.

In the early 2000s, together with my four partners, we founded our own management consulting firm, Double Effect, which focused on the capital markets. After an incredible, almost 15-year journey, we built a management consulting firm for the financial services sector with offices in Amsterdam, Singapore, Frankfurt and London. In 2013 we joined forces with Synechron to strengthen our service offering with technological capabilities, where I was responsible for consulting activities in the Netherlands. Before I left Synechron in 2019, I was head of Synechron Netherlands for three years and was a member of the global management team. After this part of my professional career, I spent more time with my family, mentored start-ups, and did a postgraduate in Data Science until I had the opportunity to (re)build the BCM practice for BearingPoint in the Netherlands.
