Our management team is led by Kiumars Hamidian. He joined BearingPoint in 1996 and became a Partner in 2002. Kiumars was one of the founding Partners in the European management buyout in 2009 that established BearingPoint as an independent, Partner-owned management and technology consultancy. In 2012 he was appointed to the German Management Board and joined the Global Management Committee of BearingPoint in 2016, the same year he took over firm-wide responsibility for Service Lines, the innovation program and Ventures unit. Kiumars was elected Managing Partner in 2018. During his career, he has led numerous global consulting projects with a focus on transformation programs, reorganizing marketing and customer services and developing IT strategies.
Eric Conway is the regional leader for GROW. This region covers Finland, Ireland, Italy, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, and United Kingdom. Eric is responsible for further developing our business in all these countries and to foster sustainable and profitable growth. He has a passion for collaboration, teamwork and creating an environment that supports high performance. Eric has worked in a variety of segments and with some of the best known telecommunication and media brands, in addition to many leading banks and insurance firms and a range of commercial bodies, delivering successful consulting programs across the entire value chain and developing long term relationships with key clients in the process. Eric has been a Partner at BearingPoint since 2014.
Elisabeth Denner is the global leader for all market segments at BearingPoint. In her role, she orchestrates a strong firm-wide collaboration across all our industries so that our global clients get the most innovative, long-lasting solutions to serve at best their complex requirements. Elisabeth is based in the Paris office and has been with BearingPoint for more than 25 years. She has successfully led the Consumer, Retail, and Luxury business since 2022 and is also a member of our FBLA region management board since 2022. Elisabeth has a long and successful track record in business strategy, transformation and digital programs for multinational corporations. She has also a strong expertise in Finance Transformation as she led our Finance Excellence offers and teams in France from 2011 to 2017. As author of many publications, Elisabeth is passionate about innovation and new business models and leads partnerships with key business schools and universities. As certified board member, Elisabeth accompanies non-profit organizations on their journey. She has been a key driver in pushing client-centric and industry innovation programs. Elisabeth joined BearingPoint in 1998 and became a Partner in 2011.
Andreas Flach is our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and manages the financial operations and financial strategy of our firm. He is committed to ensuring the financial sustainability of BearingPoint as well as a balanced portfolio of growth initiatives, maintaining the high level of integrity and transparency of our firm’s businesses. He provides insights and analysis to support the Managing Partner in decision-making and assure that business decisions are financially sound. Andreas previously had worked as a financial auditor of BearingPoint and joined the firm as a Partner in 2016.
Iris Grewe is the regional leader for Germany, Switzerland and Austria where she is responsible for the cross-industry structuring and management of the consulting business with respect to clients, employees and service offerings. In addition to her role as regional leader, she is responsible for our global consulting ecosystem. As Partner in Financial Services, she also focuses on Banking and Capital Markets. Iris has been leading business strategy, transformation and integration projects and programs across Europe, APAC and the US for over 15 years. Her clients include locally and globally operating banks and financial services providers as well as trading, clearing and settlement organizations tackling digital and regulatory change as well as operational excellence. As author of various publications, Iris deals with innovations in the banking sector, agile enterprise transformation and a broad range of regulatory topics. At BearingPoint, she was promoted to Partner in 2010. Iris has been a member of the Swiss Management Board since 2015 and joined the global Management Committee in 2017.
Matthias Loebich is the regional leader for the US and China. Furthermore, he oversees our activities in India and Portugal and is in charge of our global consulting network as well as our joint venture Arcwide. With more than 25 years of experience in consulting, Matthias has a proven track record across different industries working often in an international environment. He focuses on Supply Chain Management, Performance Management, Process Redesign as well as IT Strategy and Implementation. Matthias has led large transformation projects. He has been a Partner with the firm since 2007 and joined the Management Committee in 2014. In addition to his role at BearingPoint, Matthias serves as President of the European Federation of Management Consultancies Associations (FEACO).
Kay Manke is the global leader of our Consulting Portfolio and Innovation. He oversees all Service Lines and focuses on developing new offerings and consultant expertise. Additionally, he is responsible for the generation and management of innovations. Kay is based in the Hamburg office and brings over 30 years of consulting experience to the Management Committee. He has been leading the Operations service line at the global level since 2019 and is a well-respected senior leader in the industry. Kay has a successful track record in Consumer Goods & Retail and leverages his expertise to develop BearingPoint’s Consulting portfolio further. He joined the firm as a Partner in 2007.
Damien Palacci is the Chief People & Transformation Officer. The existing role of Chief People Officer has been extended to Chief People & Transformation Officer as BearingPoint aims to be at the forefront of consulting industry transformation. Damien is responsible for implementing the firm-wide people strategy, vital to our business objectives and growth plans. He focuses on the effective organization and deployment of our people and the realization of their full potential. In addition to his HR role, Damien is responsible for BearingPoint Transformation, by leveraging new capabilities such as artificial intelligence and engaging further with its ecosystem of technology alliances. It comprises international collaboration, relationship with technology alliances and start-ups, and internal transformation programs. With the firm for 27 years, Damien has been Global Leader Portfolio & Innovation and a member of the Management Committee since 2019. He became a Partner at BearingPoint in 2008.
Patrick Palmgren acts in the role of our global leader for the business unit Capital. In this role he is in charge of all M&A transaction services and Capital investment activities. Patrick explores new business models, leverages ecosystems and support investments into new Joint Ventures . Patrick has 30-years’ experience in M&A transaction services, management consulting and has led many different types of buy and sell side transactions as well as strategic transformations. Patrick has been a Partner at BearingPoint since 2005.
Axelle Paquer is the regional leader for France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Africa, serving major companies (CAC 40 and SBF 120) as well as large public organizations. She is responsible for client relations, service lines and segments as well as profitable and sustainable growth in the region. Before taking on the responsible for the region, Axelle has been the Global Leader Health & Social Care at BearingPoint. Being a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies, Axelle has been working in BearingPoint's public sector team for 20 years, managing the teams and leading change projects, from defining strategies to implementing public policies. Her projects include digital transformation, the re-engineering of customer/user relationship processes, operational efficiency, management and organizational consulting, the design and implementation of information systems and change management support. Axelle has been a Partner with the firm since 2011.
Donald Wachs is the global leader for the business unit BearingPoint Products and has more than 25 years of experience in business transformation consulting. His special focus is in the manufacturing industry, with functional expertise in engineering, sales and operations processes along the value chain. Donald has headed several multi-year global business transformation initiatives for key accounts involving technology like SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft and other technology partners of BearingPoint - also strategy consulting for digital product offerings and new business. He has been a Partner at BearingPoint since 2004.
Stephan Weber is the Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he enables operational excellence across our firm and takes BearingPoint’s systems to the next level. Focusing on managing day-to-day operations, Stephan optimizes our delivery approach and utilization. He is responsible for the BearingPoint support functions, their quality and efficiency. In addition to that, Stephan also leads the firm’s cross-shore-enablement hub. Stephan joined the Management Committee in 2019 and has been with BearingPoint since 1997. He became a Partner in 2009.
