Primary Functions and Tasks: 

The SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of analytics and planning solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud, ensuring integration with SAP BW/4HANA and S/4HANA. The consultant will play a key role in:

  • Gathering and analyzing reporting, dashboarding, and planning requirements from business stakeholders.
  • Designing and developing data models, stories, and analytic applications in SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Implementing planning models, versions, and data actions to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Integrating SAC with SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere (live and import connections).
  • Ensuring data accuracy, performance optimization, and user experience consistency across dashboards.
  • Collaborating with business users, functional consultants, and IT teams to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions.
  • Providing production support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing SAC applications.
  • Documenting functional and technical solutions, and providing knowledge transfer to internal teams.

The role may also involve contributing to broader analytics strategies and architectures leveraging SAP Business Data Fabric, SAP Datasphere, and other modern BI platforms.

We are looking for:  

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • SAP certifications in SAP Analytics Cloud (Planning and/or Reporting) are a strong plus.
  • SAP BW/4HANA or SAP Datasphere certifications are advantageous.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (Reporting, Analytics, or Planning).
  • Proven experience building dashboards, stories, and analytic applications using live and import connections.
  • Experience in SAC Planning: model setup, data actions, allocations, versions, and calendar-based workflows.
  • Good understanding of BW/4HANA data models (InfoObjects, ADSOs, CompositeProviders) and integration with SAC.
  • Experience with S/4HANA analytical CDS views and OData connections.
  • Knowledge of data blending, security configuration, and performance optimization in SAC.
  • Experience with scripting (Analytics Designer, JavaScript, or Advanced Formulas) is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and visualization skills with a keen eye for detail and usability.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into impactful visual and planning solutions.
  • Good understanding of data modeling, BI architecture, and analytics governance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable working with both business and IT.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
