Profile

  • At least 2 years of experience working with SQL database, very good knowledge of SQL Server and Transact SQL

  • Good understanding of Data Warehouse concept and components and dimensional model structure

  • Knowledge in working with, Data Vault and/or Star Schema

Role

  • Design and implement our new backend data model based on Data Vault and Star Schema

  • Migrate the legacy data model and pipelines to the target data model

  • Maintain and enhance the data model by developing, updating, and maintaining tables, views, stored procedures, functions, ETL packages (MS SSIS), OLAP tabular models and semantic layers

  • Contribute to Code Reviews to identify technical and logical errors

  • Ensure the handover of the project to the operations & support team and prepare the necessary documentation

  • Get familiar with other platforms that the project is interacting with (Azure Analytics, No-SQL)

  • Identify, address and fix bugs on reported errors

  • Design Power BI Models/datasets

  • Design, create and modify reports, dashboards and other analytical components using Power BI

Nice-to-have: Additional features of the Microsoft SQL Server landscape, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Power Platform, API calls, scripting languages C#, XML, JSON

  • Familiar with Dev-Ops methods (knowing Azure DevOps or Git is a plus) - Actively participation in an Agile/Scrum team framework (including Team Meetings)
