BearingPoint has recently launched ArcWide, a European centric IFS implementation services joint venture with IFS.  A key pillar of BearingPoint’s aggressive US growth strategy is to scale our US IFS-enabled business transformation services capability in collaboration with ArcWide.  We are seeking to hire IFS consultants with a desire to work in a growth oriented, entrepreneurial environment within a large global firm. As part of our IFS services team, you will advise our clients on the implementation of IFS solution, focusing in your area of specialized expertise performing functional application analysis and process design.  We are seeking candidates with expertise in all core IFS functional areas including Finance, Projects, Logistics, Procurement, Sales, and Manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Advise clients of various industries on the implementation of IFS solutions and the integration of IFS modules.
  • Create business process designs and map them to IFS solutions
  • Perform IFS configuration, develop functional specifications, and conduct functional testing of the system
  • Prepare and execute data migrations and perform system conversion activities
  • Optimize integrated business process strategies that enable cost efficiency, increase business effectiveness, and create synergies across the organization
  • Assess current state business and IT application landscapes
  • Develop and align IT strategy with key business objectives and create future state roadmaps
  • Drive overall change management for large transformational projects
  • Participate in and support project management for large, cross-functional engagements
  • Develop high-quality client presentations and deliverables (scoping documents, business process flows, project timelines, executive readouts, etc.)
  • Assist with business development efforts, including assessment and proposal development

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in economics, business administration, accounting, industrial engineering, or information technology, or comparable experience
  • Preferred 3+ years of relevant IFS Applications or IFS Managed Cloud Service Tools experience, with hands on design, configuration, documentation, and testing for project implementation
  • Specific skill sets - Proficiency in IFS Project Modules
    • Project Management
    • Project Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Project Reporting
    • Sub-Contract Management
  • Other non-IFS ERP application experience will be considered for candidates who can also demonstrate strong business process and client consulting skills
  • Previous consulting and/or project management experience
  • Experience in identifying business challenges and deriving improvement opportunities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present complex issues in a concise and meaningful manner to senior executives
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage many activities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Client-oriented work ethic and excellent international teamworking skills
  • Strong drive to go above and beyond to drive client, company, and personal success
  • Ability and openness to travel up to 70% of the time (Mon-Thurs), with expectation of 25%-40%
