As a Partner in Business Transformation for Public Services, I work at the intersection of government modernization and technology. My clients include federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as organizations with similarly demanding requirements, ranging from public registries and law enforcement agencies to budgeting and procurement functions. What these organizations have in common is their reliance on mission-critical systems that must operate seamlessly across organizational boundaries while remaining fully functional and compliant with stringent regulations. At their core, these systems are increasingly becoming the digital operating system of the public sector.
The conditions for successfully delivering such transformations have improved fundamentally in recent years. Robust standards, hybrid cloud architectures that enable greater agility without sacrificing control, and AI-assisted software development are redefining what is possible and at what cost.
This is where my expertise lies. I help clients build interoperable systems without relinquishing ownership of their data, while ensuring that security, transparency, and traceability are built into the design from the outset.
My professional journey has been shaped by eleven years at an international technology consulting firm, primarily working on programs that simply cannot be abandoned halfway through. Most recently, I was part of the leadership team of the firm’s largest business unit for custom software development, cloud, and integration services in Germany. Throughout that time, I remained closely involved in client engagements, particularly in recent years, supporting law enforcement and public safety organizations.
I joined BearingPoint because the public sector is at a pivotal moment of transformation, and I want to help shape that change rather than simply observe it. This decision reflects a conviction that has strengthened throughout my career: interoperability, the ability of organizations to connect data and processes without surrendering control, is often treated as a technical challenge. In reality, it determines what an organization is ultimately capable of achieving.
What I bring to my clients is both practical experience in delivering complex transformation programs and the ability to recognize which decisions made today will continue to create value five years from now.
Outside of work, I am originally from the German state of Thuringia, a dedicated family person, and someone who enjoys building things that work, even after business hours.
No strategy without execution. No execution without a clear direction. Understanding government. Building systems that deliver impact.
