What your donors want!
Donor segmentation using machine learning - a cooperation with Plan International
What our collaboration with Plan in Sweden is about
As BearingPoint in Sweden, we have collaborated with Plan Sweden since 2016. Our main collaboration topic: building data-driven models and developing new ways of working to release the potential of Plan’s vast amount of data for the better – to improve donor management and the quality of donor interactions. In previous projects with Plan Sweden, we have, for example, developed models to inform so-called churn prevention strategy to increase donor loyalty. We also designed donor journeys, created a new omnichannel strategy to address donors’ needs more individually, and built payment propensity models to delineate donation estimates. My name is Oliver Flinck and I will share some insights into a recent project with Plan Sweden to better understand donors in the following.

The framework we applied: Value Driven Design Framework by BearingPoint
We have based our project approach from a given framework we are working with at BearingPoint. The framework provides guiding principles defining a well-structured data-based approach to a challenge!
