Design Thinking Basics
Design Thinking is a creative approach to problem solving based on user needs and perspectives.
In this training, you will join other participants from different disciplines and industries in a participatory and creative process to develop and implement concrete innovation ideas. You will learn and apply a variety of methods and tools to build a broad range of skills in user research, ideation and prototyping.
The training will enable you to combine design thinking and agile development methods to move ideas into business practice faster. You will learn how to solve complex problems using design sprints.
For this purpose, you will go through the entire Design Thinking process (cf. HPI) within 16 hours using practical examples:
After completing the Design Thinking training, you will have a basic knowledge of key Design Thinking methods and techniques to be able to integrate Design Thinking in your organization and share your knowledge.
Design thinking involves a deep understanding of the needs and desires of your target audience by observing, listening and putting yourself in their shoes.

Basic knowledge of product development is helpful for understanding, but not a prerequisite for participation.
