CRY Ireland (Cardiac Risk in the Young) is an Irish charity that facilitates free cardiac screening, testing and support to individuals and families who have lost loved ones to sudden cardiac death or are affected by inherited cardiac conditions.
BearingPoint is proud to support the charity CRY Ireland, and we host and maintain CRY’s website.
In 2021, we assisted the charity with a major rebrand and refurbishment of its website. A website is the business card of any professional organization. For non-profits, webpages are central for providing stakeholders with elementary information – which also includes consistent branding. Also, it is crucial to be aware of different stakeholders - from volunteers to donors - using the website and provide a smooth and directed user journey with matching calls to action.
The BearingPoint pro bono team for CRY rebranded and upgraded the CRY website in advance of the “Late Late Show” (a huge talk show in Ireland). With this new webpage, the charity was able to process over €165k in donations for the charity. If you are curious what the website looks like, visit them directly: https://cry.ie.
Beyond this project support, our team regularly helps raise funds for the charity through events and sponsored activities such as marathons, bake sales and cycling events. Via our cooperation, we have really learned what the organization enables, how much it deserves attention and can create impact with further funding.
We really couldn’t do what we do without you – we’ve always been incredibly grateful for the support but the work and dedication that went into ensuring the ‘Late Late Show’ success is something we’ll never forget.
Project Partner with CRY
Working with CRY has always been great, and while the preparation to scale up the site in anticipation of the ‘Late Late Show’ appeal was challenging, it was also very rewarding work as we knew these funds would enable CRY to help so many who have been affected by sudden cardiac death. The work they do is incredible, and it was nice to be able to help them in any way we could.
