Eric has a track record of overseeing the sale and delivery of large-scale management consulting and technology implementation projects in a variety of industries and sectors. Recognised in the industry by customers and alliance partners for effective and proactive customer management providing the right advice, solutions, and people to support the delivery of successful projects. Eric's early career focused on the delivery of ERP and complex system integration technology projects giving Eric a great appreciation and understanding in how to make technology work for any organisation.
Eric joined BearingPoint in 1998 (then KPMG) as a developer in the ERP and packages application team and later became a DBA and project manager in the systems integration delivery team. With this grounding in technology and project implementation, Eric then moved into a number of more client facing and customer account management roles and eventually took on the responsibility of managing the CME (Communications, Media and Entertainment) sector for BearingPoint Ireland.
I like to bring learnings and psychology from sport to business as success in sport are often more celebrated. I especially like and use the quotation "every day in sport you get a little bit better or a little bit worse". Business is the same. We need to be always exploring and applying ways to make continuous improvements for our staff, our customers, our attitude and how we do business. Then everything else takes care of itself.
