Driving efficiency and productivity in Banking and Capital Markets comes with cultural and organizational challenges as well as client specific preconditions with regards to technological and methodological capabilities. My goal is to support and empower a tailored evolution with my clients. To realize an adequate competitiveness our support ranges form the conceptualization to the implementation of the necessary transformation.

Personal background

My passion, however, that started in 2007 with leading process optimization & design is to drive efficiency in banking. Since that time together with the competence team we have been working on concepts and delivering successful projects in

  • Process Strategy,
  • BPM,
  • RPA and
  • Artificial Intelligence,
  • Document Understanding,
  • Business Process Outsourcing (BPO),
  • Process Mining and
  • Event Streaming.

This experience and the lessons learned culminated in state-of-the-art concepts like Operations 4.0 or our Product Simplification approach.

The Product Simplification approach is particularly important in conjunction with my management of the Core Banking and Credit competence teams. While Banks are currently making great efforts to consolidate and modernize their legacy architecture and migrate extensive systems to more modern ones or to the cloud, it becomes a major opportunity to simplify historically grown products and product variants.

I started my career 1998 as a banker working as trader for 7 years for Degussa Bank before joining BearingPoint in 2005. I am Partner since 2016 and leading our service teams for Core Banking, Credit & Financing as well as Process Optimization & Design.

With my roots in Capital Markets, I dedicated a fair amount of time during the past years on capital markets systems, products and processes and leading the BearingPoint competence team for several years.

My international experience covers engagements in Tokyo, London, Paris, Vienna, Milano, Geneva and Zurich and my major clients are among others Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, DekaBank, apoBank, KfW, Postbank, DWS, BayernLB and Credit Agricole CIB.

As a former salsa teacher, I perceive in all processes the beauty that is created by their rhythm and choreography.
