As Partner in the segment Banking & Capital Markets, I advise and accompany banks and investment companies on their journey to Sustainable Finance: the dimensions my team and I cover range from EGS-strategy and implications for investment and credit business & products to ESG-reporting and -data management. Additionally, I am co-heading the sub-segment Capital Markets with a key focus on regulation of capital markets/capital markets compliance and optimization/digitalization of front-to-back-office processes for capital markets products.
Over the last years, I supported numerous clients in implementing MiFID II/MiFIR, PRIIPs and SFTR; most recent regulatory initiatives my team and myself advise clients on are CSDR and ECMS.
My client base is quite broad and encompasses state banks, private banks, large international banks as well as investment companies.
Before starting at BearingPoint mid of 2010 I had gained practical experience over several years in banks. I completed an apprenticeship in banking and worked afterwards for an automotive bank in different positions while starting to study business administration in parallel. After having gained a master's degree I worked in investment banking, both in back-office and front-office.
This expertise enables me to better understand my clients' challenges in the capital markets and investment business and advise them in identifying and implementing the right solutions to align compliance to regulatory requirements with their business strategy.
In 2013 I earned an Executive MBA dual-degree from EBS Business School and Durham University Business School which strengthened my skills in acting strategically and in a goal-oriented manner in a dynamic and international business environment.
One is responsible not only for that which one does, but also for that that one does not do.
