In this IDC quick take, analysts Mette Ahorlu, George Mironescu, James Eibisch, and Michael Versace report on BT's "Personalised Compute Management System" (PCMS) which will provide BT's clients with a platform for creating digital business offerings to their own clients, including infrastructure services — alone or as part of a larger ecosystem.

BT’s new platform allows customers to access, purchase, and bring their own digital services to market. It is a pre-built “Business Platform as a Service” and the first of its kind in the market. Delivering jointly with BT’s partner BearingPoint, bringing together their expertise in digital platform integration and BT’s skills in digital platform management, BT can typically design, build and launch services of choice in 12 weeks.
