Fendi and French digital asset management company Ledger are launching a partnership: the Italian fashion house will dress up Ledger's asset portfolio. Two cases, designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi, have been specially created to host Nano X, one of the secure wallets marketed by Ledger. The fashion industry is regularly pointed out for social and environmental practices. To ensure the ethical quality of their sourcing, some brands like SMCP (Sandro, Maje, Claudie Pierlot, de Fursac) are taking actions. The group has indeed decided that a QR code will be assigned to all its clothing within three years at the latest. By scanning the QR Code, the customer will have all the details of the product: country of origin of each material, number of kilometers traveled, place of manufacture ... To do so the group relied on a start-up called Fairly Made which is specialized on this topic. Establishing such a traceability is a vast project that do not only rely on the group but also on the ability of all SMCP suppliers to fill in the data.
