Following our risk-return analysis on Non-life business in Italy last June, we are now focussing on Life Business in order to see how much has the Risk Capital been rewarded by the main life Italian companies from 2019 to 2021.
Our study highlights that over this period the Companies operating exclusively in Life Business showed a substantial stability of the solvency ratio (197% -210%) with a progressive decreasing RORAC indicator, in line with the trend of net profit for the period
Should you be curious about the details of this new trend, feel free to download our report below.
BearingPoint is regularly studying the ability to remunerate the risk capital through a sample of Italian companies based on information available from public sources and, specifically, through SFCRs ("Solvency and Financial Condition Report" ). This approach allows us to identify potential trends for the years to come.
