Data will not only be transmitted at much higher speeds (enhanced mobile broadband) but also will be enhanced in its reliability (ultra-reliable low latency), and its volume will force communication between machines (people and massive machine-type communication). These three fields of application will greatly expand the possibilities of new business fields and form high-performance 5G telecommunication networks with predictable quality of services to form the backbone of a digital society.
