The BoP (Base of Pyramid) approaches in developing countries have emerged the last ten years, revealing many strategic interests for companies.

In front of a poverty which is increasing in France, it is important to understand the context in which it is developing, and to extract the challenges. From one country to another, the poverty feeling, the role of governments, and the motivations of business are other factors that justify a variety of approaches.

Ultimately, it is about, in France, to reinvent a relationship with customers so far neglected. Only in that way, the business opportunities might emerge.
