Our objective was not to reinvent a proven refinancing instrument, but to establish an operating model that supports higher volumes and rising reporting expectations with greater control and efficiency. Together with BearingPoint, we have created a more stable setup for recurring transaction servicing and reporting.

The impact: Strengthening efficient transaction operations
The new platform-based setup for securitization transactions provides Deutsche Leasing with a solid foundation for operating its refinancing structure. Reporting is now more structured and automated, reducing manual effort and ensuring consistent, high-quality data across transactions, servicing, and stakeholder communication.
Built on Assets & Funding Management 4.0, the operating model improves control over recurring processes and creates a solid foundation for future growth. At the same time, the collaboration marks a new phase in a long-standing partnership. Deutsche Leasing brought in-depth transaction expertise and a clear understanding of business needs, while BearingPoint brought strong implementation know-how, a structured delivery approach, and a scalable operating model. Together, the teams transformed an established funding structure into a more efficient and future-ready setup.
What we did: Building transparent control and reporting
In close collaboration with Deutsche Leasing, BearingPoint designed and implemented a robust setup to support the transaction, laying the foundation for efficient, reliable operations. This included building the revolving securitization structure, enabling automated file storage, generating retransfer files for Deutsche Leasing’s contract management system, and delivering investor reports in Excel and PDF. Reports were distributed via portal and SFTP, supported by clearly defined interfaces, requirements, and outputs.
The implementation followed a structured approach from design to go-live and stabilization. Assets & Funding Management 4.0 became the backbone of the operating model, bringing data, reporting, and servicing into one integrated setup. In the next step, BearingPoint took over reporting services, allowing Deutsche Leasing to move from a transaction-specific setup to a more standardized model with clear routines and greater efficiency.
The starting point: Scaling a proven refinancing model with stronger control and greater transparency
The securitization is a well-established asset-backed securities transaction through which Deutsche Sparkassen Leasing AG & Co. KG refinances lease receivables. The receivables are transferred on a revolving basis, while Deutsche Leasing continues to service them, ensuring ongoing collection and administration.
As Deutsche Leasing aimed to further expand and strengthen the transaction, the challenge shifted beyond proving the viability of the structure. The focus moved to enabling sustainable growth in transaction volumes while meeting increasing market and stakeholder expectations for transparency and reporting. This required managing more complex data flows, multiple reporting formats, and recurring delivery cycles reliably and efficiently. Internal and external stakeholders expected high-quality, market-compliant reporting with less manual effort and greater consistency. At the same time, Deutsche Leasing sought to establish a more robust operating model with stronger control over transaction-relevant data, processing, and reporting, supported by a scalable technology and data infrastructure.
The project shows how an established funding structure can be strengthened through a platform-based operating model. By building the setup on Assets & Funding Management 4.0 and combining implementation with recurring reporting services, we helped Deutsche Leasing create a more efficient and resilient foundation for the transaction.
